Museum Valuable Partner (MVP) Opportunities

The Mendocino County Museum welcomes the interest and involvement of volunteers in providing an engaging and enriching experience of Mendocino County's heritage for residents and visitors to our area.  We call these people MVPs - Museum Valuable Partners - because they are Most Valuable Players in the Museum's efforts.
There are many opportunities, levels of responsibility, and time commitments for those who meet the basic criteria for partnership:
  • An ability to relate to and talk with a range of people in a positive manner
  • An ability to fulfill the tasks and accept the boundaries of the matched job
  • An interest in the history and heritage of our communities
  • A willingness to acknowledge and abide by the Museum Code of Ethics
Want to help the Museum?
  • Please fill out our MVP Application Form and bring it or send it to Barbara Willens, MVP Coordinator, at the Museum (400 East Commercial St, Willits, CA 95490)
  • Barbara Willens (459-7822) will call you to schedule an interview.
  • We have MVP Get-Togethers on the 3rd Friday of every month.  Interested persons are encouraged to attend and hear what we're working on.  Contact us for more info.
